under Wages & Income any of the 1099 sections hitting update will take you to the new badly redesigned screen with all the 1099s and those big blocks, you scroll down to the block you want to delete and hit the trash can button (or hit edit if multiple sales you want to edit/delete) . But maybe what you're finding is the whole screen just goes grey after hitting the trash can - if so, you need scroll all the way back up when it turns grey because there is a yes/no dialog box right at the top...
In TurboTax Online, a single capital gain/loss entry may be removed by following these steps.
Thank you for the tip, @baldietax. I couldn't figure out how to delete an entry, either. I tried scrolling down when the screen turned gray to look for a confirm button. Didn't occur to me to scroll up. Really hate the new big blocks. (This is the software on Mac, and I do have the latest Mac OS version 15.3)
If you have a lot of entries, you want to see it all on one screen, and not have to scroll and scroll. What was Intuit thinking when they redesigned it this year? The software was a lot more intuitive last year. Not happy at all with all the user interface changes they made this year.
If you click on Tax Summary, the Federal summary is grayed out and unreadable, while the State summary is normal. Intuit, can you fix it please?
You can currently access a readable version of the Federal Tax Summary using a Mac device by going to Forms Mode and selecting it from the list of Federal Forms.
