Unfortunately, once a return has been e-filed, it has been sent to the IRS. Which means that no changes can occur, it is no longer with Turbo Tax, but with the IRS. If it is not accepted by the IRS, if it is rejected, you can fix the error before you resend. However, if it is accepted, you will be able to add the dependent by completing an amendment. My suggestion would be to wait until you get your refund, if one is expected, before completing the amendment, if not, this can delay your refund. If not expecting a refund, you can file once the form is available online with Turbo Tax.
In order to do the amendment, please see the following information.
