How do I contact my expert or support through chat or email?

Hello, 

 

I filed my taxes this year using the expert help, since I was outside of the states and I still am.

I'm not able to use my phone number to make or receive any phone calls. So I can't reach my expert through scheduling a phone call nor am I able to call them.

When I first applied and submit the paper I did receive a call on TurboTax's website, I also had the option to chat with them on the website.

My case now is that, I received my refund. However it's not the full amount, even after deduction the price for the service. I have the receipt and everything on my account. 

I've been trying to reach anyone for help with no luck at all. And I would like to contact with any live person that will be able to assist me through emails, chat or a scheduled call through the website.

This is of utmost important and I would appreciate the urgency regarding this matter.

Are you unable to reach your tax expert using the same whatever method you used originally? 

Since you can't use your phone, then if you have X (Twitter) or Facebook, you can contact a TurboTax Support agent directly with messaging and see what they suggest as for further contacting someone.

What is showing at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool concerning the refund that was sent?

Does it show the full amount was sent to you, or does it show a lesser amount?

 

If your Federal refund was less than expected, here are some possible reasons.

  • Be aware that if you also have a state refund, it comes separately.
  • If you chose to pay the TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, there is an additional $40 service fee ($45 for California filers.)
  • If there was a possible offset for a Federal or state debt, if applicable.
  • Possible miscalculation error

If you chose to pay the TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund, that's handled by a company called SBTPG.  If you DID use that service, you can log into the refund tool at SBTPG's website and see if you learn any info about your refund.   At the following site, use the "For Taxpayers" portal:

If you did NOT use that service, then that won't apply to you.

 

If the IRS reduced your refund, they should send you a letter of explanation in about 3 weeks, including any recourse steps if you disagree.
