How do I complete the process to submit a payment plan after submitting the federal tax return and requested a payment plan?

I e-filed my federal tax return for 2023 with Turbotax,  and selected the option for a payment plan. I received an email from Turbotax, that my federal tax return was accepted by the IRS,  but I got no email yet from the IRS or anything from turbotax to indicate what is next.

Can someone please advise what should I do next? I filed the return on April 6th, and as of today April 11th, still no email.

Yes, the IRS won't email you about anything, and because they rely on the US postal service, you won't hear from them about your payment plan for about 30 days and it'll be a letter. 

Don't worry about that, as long as you submitted a request, made as large a payment as you can, and filed your return, you have done what you need to do right now.
