I imported last year tax return. After that it display a small amount I own before I even start entering 2024 related data. I checked the forms and some forms have data from last year return. Most of them are related to HSA.
How can I clean up the forms before I start this year tax return.

You can erase your return and start over as long as you haven't:

TurboTax FAQ: How do I clear and start over?
I am using my personal copy of Deluxe version.
It doesn't have Left menu.
Is there a way to clear data on a Desk top version of Turbo tax?
No, there is not a way to clear and start over on the CD/download TurboTax product, because you can just create a new return.
When you open TurboTax on the desktop, you would simply go to File in the upper left and click, then select Start New Return.
Now, this is from a very old post, but I think the process is the same. Since you can have an infinite number** of returns in the desktop product, just make a new one and reimport the 2023 return, and delete the return you don't want in Windows or Mac OS.
**But you can e-file only 5.
Yes, I make a new one and then reimport 2023 return. In here it have some HSA data from 2023 and it is showing me I own some amount. Is it possible to clear these data or it's normal and I can proceed with 2024 return?
I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:
