I'm assuming it's from self-employment. If you are in the Forms section of TurboTax, use Schedule A for business and go to Line 1A, which is where you report other income/receipts not reported on a 1099 by someone who hired/paid you or from other income you made online.
If you are not in the Forms section and are using the Step-by-Step, select BUSINESS from the horizontal menu bar, then click on "Walk Me Through Everything," and the program will take you through all the appropriate categories based on the info you add.
Good Luck! 😉 Lori
If you earned this cash as an independent contractor you will report it on Schedule C attached to your 1040 by using TurboTax Self-Employed.
Once in the program, you will be able to enter your income and expenses incurred to earn the cash. You will be asked for a business name, if you do not have one, you will just answer that you use your name.
