How do I claim sons girlfriend who lived with me for 2 years as a dependent

To add a dependent in TurboTax online program, please follow the steps:

1.  Sign into your account, select Take me to my return 

2.  Select tab from above Personal Info 

3.  On the screen Your Personal Summary, scroll down to select " Add a dependent" 

4.  Select " Add a dependent" and follow the prompts

5.  On screen, Who else do you support?, select Another Person / Other

Please NOTE:

You can claim your son's girlfriend as your dependent if meet all the following rules:

·         Gross Income: She earned less than $4,050 in 2016.

·         Total Support: You provide more than half of the total support for the year. - Support Test

·         Member of Household or Relationship: She must live with you all year.

·         She is not claimed by another taxpayer.
