How do I claim my daughter as my dependent and not get hit for taxes for insurance as her dad insures her per divorce

She is on my insurance for Oct,Nov and Dec as I took a new job an am required to accept insurance for her. However, her father is required to insure her by divorce court documents. So when I do the healthcare part I am losing money based on her looking like she doesn't have healthcare when she really does through her father. She is my dependent according to court documents for taxes though. Do I just mark that she is insured for all months?

If she is insured for all of 2016, you check that she has insurance all year, regardless of who pays. As long as her farther does not obtain her insurance through the Marketplace (Obama care), you should not have any problems
