How do I change the Michigan filing status to MFS? My husband moved out 3/2017 and our divorce was final 1/2018. For Federal I filed HOH but Michigan defaults to single.

If you filed Head of Household on federal return, you must file as single on the Michigan state return.

This is also true for Qualifying-Widow(er).
