How do I change from 'mail' tax returns to 'e-file' tax returns? For both Federal and State?

If you need to switch to e-file, you can find the steps to do that below. Click on "Change to e-file your return in TurboTax Online versions" below and it will show you the instructions for how to do that. 

NOTE: If the program prompted you to mail your return, you will need to print it out and mail it. You can go here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1944348 for instructions on how to print and mail. 

Sometimes there is just no way around mailing your return. And here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901497 you will find reasons where a tax return can’t be e-fled no matter what you do. And in these cases, it will have to be printed and mailed.
