How do I cancel my tax return, I never got to enter my work info

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over.  Click on My Account at the top of the program screen while working on the 2016 online tax return.  Click on Clear & Start Over.

i already sent it, i was thinking it was eventually ask me my W-2 info and it never did

It's too late now to stop it.
You have to go through the interview in order to be sure it asks you everything.   If you skip around any, you can miss something.

 If you already efiled, then cross your fingers and hope that the return will be rejected when the IRS starts processing returns on January 23.   If it rejects, you can just correct everything and resubmit the efile.   If the IRS happens to accept it, however, then you'll need to file an amended return Form 1040X when TurboTax amending process opens up.

Check to be sure you actually submitted it.  Did you recall if you went all the way to the final screen and actually clicked on the "Transmit my returns" button?    If so, you should get an email saying the return was submitted.

If you did efile, you can check on the status with this tool.  If it was successfully submitted, it should say "pending."
