How do i cancel my return once it has been rejected ? I do not want to resend it.

If your return was rejected, it wasn't filed as far as the IRS is concerned. At this point you can't clear your return, but you can go through and delete any information that you entered. You don't have to do that, though. You can simply not resend the return.
