As I was filling out my 2025 taxes, I realized that I put in the wrong values on lines 14a and 14b of the Federal Carryover Worksheet (NOL and AMT NOL) on my 2024 return. Those values bubble out into lots of forms. They don't have any real impact on my taxes, but I figured it would be good to amend the return so it is consistent with the numbers on my 2023 and 2025 returns. HOWEVER, when I go into TurboTax Premier Desktop 2024, click Amend a Return, I can't find where I can revise the numbers on the Federal Carryover Worksheet that then bubble out to 1/3 of my return. Is that possible with TurboTax Desktop? (I know TurboTax doesn't really handle NOL very well. Can it not amend a return with revised NOL amounts?)

You do not amend a return to change worksheets. You should be able to change them but just for printing purposes and it is done through the regular return entry, even though you have already filed. You will not select amend, but click add a state. You will not be actually adding a state, but it will let you back in to the Federal to change the worksheets.
I think you misunderstand. I am not just trying to change a worksheet for my own records. I need to change my 1040 and 6251 and several other forms, and thus need to amend my return. However, I can't actually change any of those forms directly... I have to edit lines 14a and 14b in the Federal Carryover Worksheet, and those values will then propagate out to the forms like 1040 Schedule 1 and 6251 and so on. (That's true whether I am amending or not. )
The question I have now is whether I can just drop into Forms mode and edit that Federal Carryover Worksheet when amending a return, or whether I have to use the Update buttons in the Amend a Return interface?? (given there seems no Update button that would take me to that worksheet)
You may be able to change some fields on the Federal Carryover Worksheet; however, depending what you want to change, right-click on the field and go to 'Data Source'. You may want to change the amount in the interview in the section where carryovers are asked for (or pre-filled) when Amending.
