No, just started new job , Ladd few weeks of dec, only made 1,700

Ok, if he lived with you all year then you will add him as a dependent however you will NOT enter his income on your return.  If he had any federal or state taxes withheld he can file his own return to get them back BUT he must indicate that he is being claimed as a dependent.... to be safe file your return first.
