How do I add a 1098 E to my tax return? I used to add it for free but now it's telling me I need to pay and that simply isn't right.

With the latest tax law changes, the student loan interest deduction is no longer included on the new simple 1040 tax return. It must be entered on a new Schedule 1. The free edition does not include Schedule 1 so you must upgrade to Deluxe to get Schedule 1.

I think they could have managed to add the new tax law changes into the original forms...it was the unnecessary forms changes that are to blame for this one.
