How can my taxable interest be higher than my interest income?

TurboTax shows total interest of  $19,000 but the summary shows taxable interest of $20,278. Only Box 1 is filled in on my 1099-INT forms.

Have you checked your Form 1040?  Check line 2b taxable interest on Form 1040 to see if it shows the amount correctly.  Also, check Schedule B for details.

To e-file your return please select File in the left menu and follow the instructions until you can select the Transmit my returns now button.

Once you've done that, the next thing you should see is a Transmission Successful screen.
