If you have not registered, paid or e-filed you can clear and start over in a lower version of the software.
If you already e-filed, there is no taking it back. It is on its way to the IRS and cannot be stopped if the IRS accepts it. If the IRS rejects it you can fix the mistakes---but you will not be able to "clear" it.
