How can I restore my turbotax software that was deleted due to resetting my computer?

Lost my software from 2014-2022 due to a windows update. My tax files were not deleted but the software was.

Software is no longer available for any years prior to 2019. Even if you could find it on eBay, etc. you cannot get updates. Did you save the tax returns as pdf's so that you can still open them? Or do you only have the tax files? There is a service called TaxPrinter (google it) that can print out tax returns when you only have the tax files -- no idea what it costs.

Turns out all you have to do is call TurboTax and they send you a link to re-download the program. Once downloaded you can just restore a backup file.

My problem was TurboTax help desk was closed when my problem began on Friday night and for the rest of the weekend.

You would think they could provide 24/7 support.
