Assuming that you're inquiring about reporting the premiums that you pay for health insurance. Health insurance premiums can be entered as an itemized deduction. You can deduct your unreimbursed health insurance premiums, but you have to itemize your deductions instead of taking the standard deduction. Medical expenses must exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) to count toward your itemized deductions and your itemized deductions must exceed your standard deduction for your filing status to itemize.
