How can I refile my taxes, if turbo tax is saying I already filed for 2020 when I didn’t.

TurboTax will not show that the tax return has been e-filed unless you have completed the return and submitted it for e-filing. 

Please log out of your return. Log back in to your TurboTax account using Windows 10 on a PC with a Chrome browser to proceed.

Use the IRS Check My Refund Status to verify that your tax return has not been filed.

If someone else claimed you as a dependent correctly, then you must go back into My Info and indicated that someone can claim you as a dependent. Otherwise, the IRS will not accept your filing.

• A social security number can only be filed once with the IRS unless it is being included as a dependent on someone else's return.

If someone else claimed your social security incorrectly, you would not change anything in My Info, but would need to paper file your return.
