You can pay your state taxes owed in TurboTax by selecting direct debit (bank transfer) during the "File" process to schedule a payment for a specific date. You can choose to pay by check/mail in TurboTax to file now, then pay directly on your state's tax department website.
Whether you can pay state taxes with a credit card via TurboTax depends on your specific state, as many states do not allow credit card payments directly through tax software.
If you cannot pay in full, you can select "pay by check" in TurboTax, but do not mail a check. Instead, set up an installment plan on your state's official revenue website.
If you already filed, you cannot change the payment method in TurboTax. You must pay directly via your state's website.
Review your "Electronic Filing Instructions" or "State Information Worksheet" to confirm if a direct debit was scheduled.

if you are not going to file by 4/15, you should be able to pay through the states website, you may also be able to apply for an extension on the website. The alternative id to mail in an extension with payment postmarked on or before 4/15. Using direct debit, if you'll file after 4/15, will result in penalties for late fling and late paying.
