How can I get Turbo tax to file my 2021 tax return now after Hurricane Ian extension deadline was moved to Feb 15, 2022?

I filed for extension in April, 2022.  Deadline to file was extended from October to Feb. 15, 2022 for those affected by Hurrican Ian. Turbotax has error that says I already filed.  Irs has no record of my filing.

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2021 have closed.  You will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer, Window or Mac, one of the 2021 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2021 tax return can no longer be e-filed using TurboTax.  You will have to print, sign, date and mail the tax return to the IRS.  Include with the mailed tax return any Forms W-2 and Forms 1099 which have taxes withheld.  Use a tracking service from the US Post Office when mailing the return so that you will have proof the IRS received the tax return.

There is no penalty for filing a tax return after the due date if there are no taxes owed or there is a tax refund.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for filing a return after the deadline - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/missed-october-17-deadline/L2...

You cannot file a 2021 return any longer thru the TT program ... you will have to paper file it.

Some professionals can still efile 2021return HOWEVER even they cannot do so now as the IRS has shut down efiling for the switch to the 2022 program.  When the 2022 efile season opens sometime in January some tax pros will be able to efile 2020, 2021 & 2022 returns  but you will not be able to do so thru the TT system.
