Yes. You will enter her parents 1095-A on your return. Then you will select that this policy was shared with another taxpayer. This will allow you to allocate an amount to her and her parents. You can claim 100% or 0%, they can do the same as long as it adds up to 100%.You will need to talk to her parents to find out how much they are allocating to them. Many times parents paid the premiums and will allocate the full amount to themselves, while the kids just enter the form and allocate 0%. But this must be agreed on by the people on the policy.
