How can I enter a New York State adjustment to federal income on Form IT-201 as an override? When I try to do it - the override is grayed out.

You cannot override on a New York state form- because the state of New York requires TurboTax to electronically file the return and you cannot efile if there are overrides TurboTax does not allow it.
