How can I check on payment status for extension payment?

The best thing to do is to contact a representative with the IRS to see what the status is. An alternative is to check to see if your payment has cleared your bank or posted to your credit card. The IRS does not share this information with TurboTax so unfortunately, we are not able to assist you directly in this matter.
