How can I change single to head of house hold?

You need to qualify to be Head of Household (HOH). TurboTax will automatically assign this filing status once you go through the online interview and it determines you meet the requirements.

If TurboTax has not defined your filing status as HOH, you may not qualify. To see the qualification, click on Do I qualify for Head of Household in 2020?

Filing Status is determined after you enter Dependents in the Personal Info tab.
