How can I change my spouse information to active duty?

My spouse and I are filing separately. She is also active duty, but under her information it says not military. It does not show an option to change that. It only shows name and SSN.

Because you are filing separately, that option won't be on your return. She will have the option to indicate that she is active duty military on her return.

You only need very brief information on her. The majority of information is "filed separately"
