How can I change from e-file to mail so I don't have to pay $39.99?

There is no fee to e-file.  The TurboTax fee is for preparation of your taxes, and will need to be paid in order to print your return for filing-by-mail. You can review your fees and remove any unwanted charges prior to filing.  The instructions are listed in the following FAQ:
