Sorry, you misread the question. I asked how, and you said "no, however yes." And box 5 of the 1099-SA is "Type of plan," not something that a number can be typed into. Did you mean box 1? Why does TurboTax ask me for things like the payer's federal ID number if it's just going to be ignored?
If my previous edited answer didn't work, you may want to clear your cache or try a different browser to enter Form 1099-SA.
Hey, there we go. Switching browsers didn't work, and deleting the form through the main 1099-SA page didn't help, but deleting it through Tool Center > Delete a form like you mentioned and then starting over worked.
I had this same issue where it kept overwriting. I then decided to delete it and re-enter it. Then I started to get the hit a snag message. I spent 2 hours with someone in chat with no help! Eventually I found another thread to figure out a resolution on my own. Instead of deleting it from this screen, you have to go to tools and then forms. Then look for the 1099-SA and delete it. Then you will have to re-enter it, but it allowed me to add a second one after that.
