How are service fees for using TurboTax paid for?

Hi,

I am curious to know if the service fees for using TurboTax are paid for by being deducted from my tax return. For example, say I am hypothetically receiving a return for $500 and my overall services fees for using TurboTax are $100. Does that mean I would get a deposit of $400 overall? Or is the $500 deposited and then $100 taken out of my bank account?

If anyone has insight into how this works, I would greatly appreciate it.
