Hitting "Transmit returns now" takes me to a screen which shows my wife paid more than $18,500 into 401k for 2018. Hitting continue takes me back to "transmit". Loop...

Do I change it (lie!!) to $18,500?  Otherwise, I seem to be stuck in an infinite loop where it won't submit my taxes, but there's nothing I can do to remedy the situation.

The transmit loop is being handled in an upcoming update. Take a look at the FAQ below that will tell you how to handle the excess and a way to sign up for notification of the update. Update currently slated for 4/5.
