If you tried to e-file your amended New Jersey return and it was rejected, you can just try again. Make sure you follow the instructions on the e-file rejection message you received to correct the issue. Please see What does my rejected return code mean and how do I fix it? for more guidance.
If you are still having issues with the e-file, you may need to mail in your amended state return instead. See How do I file my return by mail if you are unable to e-file.
