Hi! I set my return to pay my taxes from my checking today, March 15, 2025. Why has this automated service failed to take the money out of my account

Does Turbotax automatically take the money out of your account if you set it to do so at some point in the future?

If you have selected to pay either the IRS or your State by direct debit from your bank account, the transaction may not occur exactly on that date.  Give it a few days before contacting the IRS or your State Dept. of Revenue.

TurboTax has nothing to do with this debit to pay the tax agencies, other than including the info in your tax return for you.  Check your Filing Instructions to make sure your Routing/Account numbers are correct.
