Hi. I paid toward my 2020 estimated taxes, but did not file last year. Can I late file with turbotax?

My goal was to activate the delayed deadline, by paying something, before last year's May 17 due date.

Yes you can still file your 2020 tax return using TurboTax but you will have to use TurboTax CD/Download as the online version is only for filing 2021 tax returns.

If as you said you overpaid to set up a refund, there is no penalty for filing late.
