To enter your repayment of unemployment, login and follow the steps below:

  1. Click 'Take me to my return'
  2. Select the 'Federal Taxes' tab and then click the 'Wages & Income' tab below it
  3. If you have the blue button 'Check for more income' click it and then click 'Skip to see all income'
  4. Scroll down to 'Unemployment' and click the blue hyperlink 'Show more'
  5. Click 'Start' or 'Update' next to 'Unemployment and paid family leave'
  6. On the first screen "Unemployment (and Paid Family Leave)", answer "No, I didn't receive any of the payments on a 1099-G"
  7. On the second screen "Other Uncommon Unemployment Benefits", you'll see your situation described and you can select "Yes"
  8. On the third screen "Did you Repay Any Government Unemployment?", you'll need to select "Yes"
  9. On the fourth screen "Prior Year Repayment" you'll be able to enter the amount repaid.
