Saying that you could be claimed as someone else's dependent for 2019 prevented you from getting a stimulus check. Your post was cut off in mid-sentence, but if you were going to ask if you can amend 2019 and get the stimulus money now, do not even bother at this point.
The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return. If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check this year, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021—if you are eligible. It will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.
If you are eligible to be claimed as a dependent, you are legally obligated to check that box and you are denied the stimulus payment under law, even if the person who is eligible to claim you as a dependent does not actually claim you.
If you were not eligible to be claimed as a dependent in 2019 and you checked the box by mistake, it did not affect any other part of your tax return except your eligibility for the stimulus payment. At this time, it is simply too late to file an amended return and it would be a waste of time. You should receive the payment when you file your 2020 return.
if you are still eligible to be claimed as a dependent, then you are not entitled to a stimulus payment. Claiming a payment would be tax fraud, and if you don’t like the rules, you have to take it up with Congress.

just following on to this part of the comment. If this is what occurred, be sure to fill out the TT questions correctly on the 2020 tax return and you should see the stimulus payment show up as a credit on Line 30 of the Form 1040.
