Hi, I and my wife were 100% unemployed in 2017, in 2016 I filed self employed... do I still file self employed?

Hi, I and my wife were 100% unemployed in 2017, in 2016 I filed self employed... do I still file self employed?
If you didn't have any self-employment income then no you will not file as self-employed.
If you had no taxable income at all then no you will not need to file a tax return. If you had taxable income above the filing threshold then you will need to file. See attached.
