To receive the Home Energy Credit, follow these instructions:

1. Go to Federal, then Deductions and Credit.

2. Choose Your Home and select Home Energy Credits, third choice down the list.

By answering the questions, you will see if the IRS will allow your air conditioner to be included as a Home Energy Credit.
