No, you can't use the free version of Turbotax. Even though you didn't "start a company" and don't have an EIN, you had self-employment income that needs to be reported on Schedule C. For guidance on how to report your self-employment income see:

1099NEC is self employment income and you HAVE to file it on Schedule C, especially to be counted as earned income. You need a Net Profit on Schedule C to show earned income. You can enter Schedule C for Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to Premium version. Or use any of the Desktop Download programs.
