Once a tax return has been filed it cannot be changed, canceled or retrieved

Once a tax return is e-filed. You're done. All you can do is wait.

 - If the e-filed return is rejected, then you can make your corrections/change it and e-file it again.

 - If the e-filed return is accepted, then you have to "WAIT" until the return is processed. Then you can file an amended return.

Until one of the above two things occurs, there's nothing that you or anyone else can do.

Once your tax return is processed, you can file an amendment through TurboTax using Form 1040-X.
