Hello turbo tax community, how do you do file when you have three different forms such as w2,1099 misc and 1098T?

You will need to use the Deluxe version of TurboTax to be able to report the 1099-Misc. and 1098-T. 

Since you are currently in the Free Edition, you will need to upgrade.  You can do this by selecting the "Upgrade" button on the left black panel.

You can then enter the forms under the Income & Expenses section of the program.

• Enter your W-2 wages under "Job (W-2)"
• Enter your 1099-Misc. under Other Common Income - 1099-Misc

You will enter your 1098-T form under the Deductions & Credits, Expenses & Scholarships (Form 1098-T).

Please note if you can be claimed as a dependent on your parent's return, then they will claim the education credit and the information on the 1098-T Form.

There is also a completely free website if you qualify which is free for federal and state.  And has more forms than the Federal Free Edition, like Schedules A, B, C , D, E, F, EIC, H, K-1, SE,  etc.

NOTE:  You will have to log out of  your regular Turbo Tax account and setup a new account with a new username and new password or it will take you back to regular Turbo Tax.

To qualify for the Free File website  you just need to meet one of these 3 things 
AGI $36,000 or less
Active duty military with AGI of $69,000 or less
OR qualify for EIC (earned income credit.)

In order to use the Free File program, you have to start it at a special website.  Click on the bottom Orange button I Qualify Start Now and set up a NEW account or it will take you back to regular Turbo Tax.
