Hello, Per the IRS Free File webpage this tax return should be filed for free. Why is this not happening here? Thanks

IRS Free File webpage says that you can file your tax return for free if certain criteria are met. Please see the list below to determine why your tax return is not free. Your adjusted gross income is on line 37 of Form 1040. 

Receive a free Federal return if:

• Your Adjusted Gross Income is $33,000 or less, OR
• You are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit
• All Ages
• Same criteria apply when filing with a foreign address
• Same criteria apply for free state return(s) for any state

To preview your 1040 in TurboTax follow these steps: 

1.       Click "Tax Tools" (On the left in black)

2.       Click "Tools"

3.       Click "View Tax Summary" under "Other helpful links…"

4.       Click "Preview my 1040" its on the left in black.

I meet the criteria, still you want me to pay $76.98 to file the Federal and Missouri tax, nice try, moving to another software
