Hello, is it possible to run a comparisons of the current state I live and work in and one that I would like to move to?

I know the state I would like to move to does not allow alimony deduction, so I would like to see if any and how much that would increase my tax liability.

Are you using online TurboTax or the CD/download?   When you use online you pay for each state software program that you use----but if you do not file it you could probably delete it  after you play with it and use it for "free."  With the CD/download you have to pay $45 for each state program you download.

@jamsoh1967 Oh....and information flows from the federal return to the state return.....so you will actually have to prepare a "test" federal and a "test" state return to do what you want to do....but do not file the "test" returns.  When you are done playing around, clear them out.
