Hello I need to file taxes to for a contract graphic design position how do I go about that, my employer isn't giving me a w-2 or any paper work.

Hello I need to file taxes to for a contract graphic design position how do I go about that, my employer isn't giving me a w-2 or any paper work.
If your compensation was $600 or more for 2016, your employer is supposed to provide you with a 1099-MISC. He has until February 1st to do so.
However, you must report the income regardless. Enter your independent contractor income and expenses in the Business Income section of TT.
