Yes ... you can file your return from anywhere in the world where you have an internet connection ... alert all your payers asap as to your new address so you get all your forms timely.

Catch is you will need a US based Credit Card with a US billing address to pay the Turbotax fees if you don't use one of the free versions.

What VolvoGirl means is that the ability to e-file ends on Oct 15, 2019, after that 2018 tax returns can only be printed and mailed.

AND online tax preparation for 2018 returns shuts down after October 15--after that you have to download desktop software to finish the return, and then print, sign and mail it.

why do you think you need to submit a picture of your W-2. it's not possible if you efile and is not required

Yes You can enter a W2 into the mobile app by taking a picture
