Having 2 copies of TT open at same time for same year

I would like to have 2 copies of my Turbo tax open so I can do my 2 kids taxes at the same time.  Because data from one is needed on the other I am having a hard time opening and closing to do this and it would be so much easier if I could have both open at the same time.

It will not let me do so.  What do I try next

If you are using the desktop program, you need two different computers.   You can only have one instance of the program running on each device.
