This is mainly a user community forum. The code is sent by computer. You may be able to change it to text message.If you are logged into your account click on Tax Home in the left menu column. Then when you are at the Tax Home, in the left menu column click on "Intuit Account." Then in the section "Sign In and Security," under the items Phone and Two-Step Verification there are options for "text." I'm not sure which one you'll have to change; possibly both If it was me, I'd try Two-Step Verification first. Then see if you can get the verification code by text during filing. Or if you want to change both options to text while you are in that account settings area, that's another option. You can change them back later, if you wish.
When you activate two-step verification, it will also be in place each time you log into your account. If you don't want that nag, you can turn it back off later, if you wish.
