Have you considered the fact that I gave $6000 estimated tax at $1500 per quarter?

$1500 per quarter in 2016?  Usually I receive a refund.

Turbotax will not consider that until you enter is as estimated taxes paid, then it will be considered.

Type  estimated tax payments    into the search box, then click Find, then click Jump to

Enter the payments that you made and they will be applied to your return.
