I got divorced in January 2016 I changed my name back to maiden name but my w-2 still has my married last name. do I use my maiden name or married name?

Have you changed your last name with Social Security?

The efile process validates your last name and Social Security Number against the Social Security database.

Whatever last name you have on file with Social Security is the name must use or your efile will be rejected regardless of what the documents say.
