You can enter 1099Misc Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version. Or any of the Desktop programs. But you will get the most help in the Home & Business version.

OR use Turbo Tax Free File website is free for federal and state. And has more forms than the Federal Free Edition, like the full 1040 return and Schedules A, B, C , D, E, F, EIC, H, K-1, SE, etc.
To qualify for the Tax Freedom website you just need to meet one of these 3 things
AGI $36,000 or less
Active duty military with AGI of $69,000 or less
OR qualify for EIC (earned income credit.)
In order to use the Turbo Tax Free File, you have to start it at a special website. If you use the Sign In button on the top right I hear it brings over your work.

If the income is in box 7 of the 1099-MISC you do need the upgrade. The income has to be reported on Schedule C, which TurboTax Free Edition does not support.
You might be able to use IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax instead of Free Edition. The Free File Program does support Schedule C, but it has income restrictions. It's at the following link, and the qualifications are listed there.
